TU Presidium on the attack on Ukraine

The Presidium of the Hamburg University of Technology is deeply dismayed by the Russian President's decision to attack Ukraine:

"We are aware of the devastating consequences this will have for the people of both states, including scientists and students. We feel for the affected students and staff of TU Hamburg and their families and will do our utmost to support them. We continue to firmly believe that science serves the understanding of all nations. All people who share liberal democratic values and respect human rights have our support. War cannot and must not be a solution."
