07 Jul 2026 to 07 Jul 2026, 15:00 to 17:00 in Hamburg, Grindelviertel
Join us for a guided walk through Hamburg’s historic Grindelviertel, where we will explore the former sites of synagogues and other Jewish institutions that once shaped the neighborhood.
Along the way, we will share the stories and fates of Jewish residents who lived here, shedding light on their lives before and during the Nazi era. The tour will also reflect on different forms of remembrance, including the “Stolpersteine” (stumbling stones) — small memorial plaques placed in front of the last voluntarily chosen homes of those who were persecuted and murdered.
