The objective of this workshop is to prepare for your job interview and play your role as an interviewee. After you produced your job application including a cover letter and a tailored CV you will master your interview.
You will engage in role plays to experience yourself in different roles in an interview. You will present yourself authentically and professionally and receive feedback from online interview partners and observers.
The trainer/coach will introduce you to available resources and explain the procedure for the individual Online Job Interview. The matching process of the role play partners will be initiated in the introductory session.
Key issues are:
- Structure of a job interview, different type of interviews
- How to make a good impression!
- The different perspectives: What do they want to find out? What do you want to know?
- Frequently asked questions, their background, and your possible answers
- Body language
- Do´s & don´ts in an interview
- Your experience with online interviews
Your preparation:
You will need to prepare a cover letter (CL) and a CV (digital documents) geared to a real job offer for this seminar. It is necessary to provide the digital the job advertisement on which you based the cover letter and the CV. Some information on the company would be helpful to prepare your student colleagues for your interview. To benefit from the group experience, it will be necessary to share the CVs and CL via email. Please indicate your consent. There will be a short preparation session to the workshop on 27. June at 6 pm. The Zoom link will be sent to you shortly before.
