The Climate Informed Engineering (CIE) Research Training Group at TUHH cordially invites you to a public lecture by Prof. Marleny Saldaña from the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Alberta, Canada.
Title: “Value-Added Products from Biomass Conversion Using Integrated Pressurized Fluid Technology in a World Influenced by Climate Change”
Language: English
Prof. Saldaña’s research focuses on emerging processing technologies, in particular the use of near-critical and supercritical water and carbon dioxide for the treatment of biomass and agricultural materials. Her work targets applications in nutraceutical, food, and industrial sectors, as well as the processing of food, natural health products, and by-products using various unit operations combined with mathematical modelling and computer simulations.
