Contents:
Determination of important process parameters:
1. Measuring respiratory activities (endogenious respiration, influence of wastewater concentration and inhibitor concentration).
2. Turbidity removal with flucculation and precipitation
3. Residual time distribution using tracers (fixed bed reactors).
4. Filtration (surface filtration, filter- and filer pie resistance, chemical condensation)
Learning Outcomes:
Knowledge: Students shall develop an understanding of sources of errors in wastewater analyses and of process analysis
Skills: Application of theory based demanding methods and techniques
Capacities: System orientated reasoning, teamwork and communication skills with/towards different expert groups.
