PRESS RELEASE
OF THE STUDENTS OF INTERNATIONAL MASTER PROGRAM
TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITÄT HAMBURG-HARBURG (TUHH)

The International Students and the International Master Students of Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH), despite the recent allegation and findings in the Hamburg-Harburg region related to the tragedy in New York and Washington, deeply express our sympathy and condolence for the innocent victims.

We strongly condemn the use of violence in achieving any goals or intentions for whatsoever reason. We also deeply regret that among the suspects were former international students of TUHH. We believe that this is just a tragic coincidence. Therefore, we are sure that the public will not simply extend the incident as any kind of unjustified prejudice towards any international students in Germany from different nations all over the world.

Our experience that the benefits gained from the internationalisation of German education such as intercultural exchanges and German way of education will hopefully
continue in the future. We believe that the further internationalisation of German education will continue to benefit every party and therefore it should be maintained.
